Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice.

Thanks!

Its really that bad? I did a ride along and nothing really happen, but we did get a fight call. Its was very fun. Speeding down the road was fun too.Originally Posted by chewy
Speed is fun. Where I work there is ALWAYS something happening. Just the other day I had to resharpen two pencils, my stapler jammed and I had to clear it, the reclyner function on my office chair didn't work so I had to sit upright the WHOLE shift, and I cut my little finger on a file folder...all this for a measly $63,000 a year, sometimes I don't know why I even bother to show up for that kind of pay, I mean, I put my self on the line everyday risking a papercut that could get infected and everything :DOriginally Posted by explorer2004

A police officer does what you think he does AND he/she also has multiple other occupations from social worker, medic, firemen, counselor, auto mechanic, computer geek etc. We do a lot more than just arrest people.
Creeper Cop
Thanks. I know yall do a lot more arrest people. An officer told me once "you can't come out here thinking your going to arrest very body because that's not what its all about." What do you guys do? I know you guys do traffic stops, go on fight calls, drug calls, building searches and so on. What is Law Enforcement really about? I know its about protecting and serving people.Originally Posted by mcsap
