Hotel Help

Backstory: Me and my friends are going to a christian concert in Rockford, IL. We want to stay the night in Chicago but we are all 16 (or we are all going to be 16)...how old do you have to be to check-in to a hotel? Can our parents reserve the rooms and we check-in or are we gonna have to miss it?! This has been buging the CRAP out of me and I cant find anything concerning ages, all I know is that here your parents can reserve the room and with proper ID you can check in. Help please!!!!

Just a guess, but I think you have to be 18. They are not going to take the chance to rent a room to you. Call the hotel you had in mind and ask them..

Someone probably needs a credit card, and that will take care of the situation. Maybe reserve the room with the card, and then present it at the hotel.

^^^^^ I agree with Nuklhed. If I was you I'd do a google search on hotels in the Chicago area. I would find a few that I was interested in and call the management to make an inquiry on there policy in this matter.

On a side note
If you find one that will allow it make sure you get a name of the manager you are speaking with in case you run into a problem after arriving at your location. It could be very helpful information.
