Minimum Age To Take TCLEOSE

I was wondering if anyone knows what the minimum age to take the TCLEOSE is. I am currently attending a police academy in Texas and will graduate in Oct. but I won't turn 21 until Dec. 27th and I really don't want to wait an additional two months before I am able to challenge the TCLEOSE. I have tried to find this information online but I haven't had any success in doing so. Thanks in advance!

Thanks txinvestigator1! Looks like I will have to wait until I turn 21! Sect. 1701.309 states "The commission by rule shall set 21 years of age as the minimum age for obtaining a license as an officer."

i had to wait almost 4 months after i got out of the academy before i turned 21. then a bunch of schmucks cheated on the test and TCLEOSE revoked all tests until a new one could come out so it was almost a year after i graduated that i actually got to take the test.

P01IC3M4N that sucks that you had to wait almost a year before you could take it. I thought waiting two months was bad but I'm just going to use it to sharpen my knowledge even more.
