Hi All - I would have put this under the hiring/backround forum - but it keeps timing out.
Anyway here is the question that I have and I am hoping for some type of advice if I am doing something wrong.
My main concern is the type of paper I am using for my resume. I am using a a 100% cotton, 32lb Southworth Watermarked Resume Paper in Gray. I have heard two types of thoughts on this. If it is a different color that plain white then it has a more likely hood of being spotted, some have said that resumes could be in a mild pink or light blue - neither of which appeal to me.
Should I being using this color or should I try an Ivory color instead? I want to make a good impression but I am confused.
The reason why I am thinking of switching from the Gray is because I have read that if photocopies need to be made, then a clear copy can be made instead of having a spotty copy do to the flaked gray pattern.
Thoughts?
