You guys put your lives on the line every shift to keep your society safe. Thanks to you, I can walk at night without being mugged or shot and I can drive on the roads without some bonehead driving drunk at 90 mph and hitting me. A lot of us may never realize how much police work makes our lives safer, but all we have to do is look at third-world societies where policing is non-existent or corrupt/ineffective.
Even for those who have gotten into trouble with the law, our interactions with you hopefully make us better people. If we're willing to listen, you guys patiently let us know why what we were doing was wrong.
So here's a big thank you!!!
