How to show up for Physical Agility Test...

The title pretty much explains it all guys/girls... I am scheduled to attend a Physical Agility Test for a Police Department at a local gym/health club where they hold the test. My instincts tell me that it would be a BAD thing to show up already dressed for it (sweats + t-shirt) as well as showing up in jeans. I guess I'm just looking for someone to clarify for me how you would prefer to see a candidate show up- Business Casual (no tie)? Business Formal (tie+jacket), et cetera?

Thanks for any pointers guys (and I already plan on being a few minutes early, of course!)

If you are ONLY going to be doing the PA test and it does NOT involve any interview or written exam, wearing gym clothes ( not cutoffs or shirts with cute sayings) is perfectly fine to arrive in.

We tested about a month ago, 142 showed up for the PA test and all were in quite casual attire. The written test that occurred about 5 hours later was different in that most were well dressed if not in business attire. This did not include the interviews which were held last week.

Ours are written test and physical test on the same day. You take the written, then are given 15 minutes to change into workout clothes and be in the gym.
