Yeah they are a squared away pretty much, its just the idea that someone is digging and i have no idea what others are actually saying about me. Not that I have anything to hide and I also told the officer doing the BI that I had nothing to hide. Still a little odd having someone digging so hard to find some dirt on you. Oh well its no longer in my hands just have to hope and know that I have done nothing that would get me DQ'd

Damn, less than 5 business days for a BI?! Those guys MOVE. You're lucky...mine took MONTHS.

Well they are only moving that quick because the Academy Starts on the 16th of May. So they are having to move at a quick pace so that they if they hire me can get me down to be fitted for my clothes, vest,belt and so on. See I am tall and skinny so they have to special order my stuff because well most of the officers in my area are not as tall nor as skinny as I am, then again they are already making plans to use me for those tight places that the STAR team has to get into sometimes.

Again thanks to you all. It feels so nice to be able to come in here and talk to you ladies and gentlemen and feels good to know that when you all tell me not to worry that things will be just fine that I actually believe you because you know what I am going through. Veruses the family and friends that tell you that appear to be trying to make you feel better when they have no idea what you are feeling and its so hard to explain to them what you are feeling and why you are feeling in that way.

So again thank you very much for listening to me banter and for making me feel at ease about things.

OK quick question here. The guy doing my BI has till friday to get it done. And he has yet to call my best friend or my parents. I am wondering is it a good thing or bad thing that he has yet to contact the three people that are the closest to me? Thanks

Really? Wow, my BI with the sheriff's office took a month or so, and don't even get me started on how long my federal BI took (we're talking months with an "s" :D ).

I guess he figures that your parents and best friend will give you a good recommendation, so he is probably checking with former employers, neighbors, criminal check, & credit checks first.

Got ya just sorta seems weird seing as how he said he was wanting to get to know me personally through my friends and family. But hey either way I have nothing to hide, just sorta weird i guess since time is running out.
