    Please Help

Hey can anyone help me with this.?
I was pulled over for reckless driving and speed contest about a month ago, but the I was not racing anyone, i was just simply going 90 plus but under 100. the police officer arrested me without reading my rights and i think he put that i was going over 100 in my vehicle which is 70 hp crx.Is there a way to prove this since usually the chp has a built in camera in their vehicles?also what are the chances of the police officers showing up to court if i plead not guilty?
p.s i live in san fransisco area Ca

You watch too much TV. A police officer can arrest someone without reading them their rights as long as they don't ask any guilt seeking questions....

    #1 You were speeding.
#2 Don't think you'll get out of a ticket if the cop is a no show. Because it's only overtime for me and I got a boat to pay off.
    #3 YOU WERE SPEEDING
#4 Man up...take the ticket and stop asking cops how to get out of a ticket.

    Was he wearing his hat?
A snout has told me he's got a set of nostrils, so go and get a W so we can spin his drum to see if he's got any monkey gear - The Sweeney.

If you were driving 100 mph on the same roads that I use with my family, it's too bad he couldn't slap you around a bit, in addition to the tickets! Pay the fine and SLOW DOWN (or walk)

I'd guess that the chance for a CHP officer to show up in court if you dispute the ticket is approx. 90%. A CHP officer's entire reason for living is traffic enforcement. It's hard to write tickets if you don't plan on backing them up in court. I'll also bet that if you show up in court that the officer will be more than happy to explain the reason he cited you for the speed, as well as speed contest. If he doesn't, you get to walk away.
I'm curious why he actually cuffed you up. I'm guessing there is a bit more to the story than you were just cruising down the road at 90 in your junker CRX and got randomly pulled over by CHP. And please don't try to tell me that your CRX is incapable of going over 90, it's just insulting.

Legoate, not sure about out there, but here in MO, if I check your speed at 20 mph over the set limits, I can make you post bond on the ticket. Is it the same out there?
I have only hooked up a couple of people for that because they were either being smart asses or I had a feeling they weren't going to show in court if I let them off with just the cite.

Why? So you could further prove that you were in the wrong by speeding. The camera wouldn't work to your advantage if you're guilty, which you clearly are  .

OK.. If everyting you say is true. Why waste your money on a lawer??

Go into court and admit what you did and pleade guilty. The only thing a lawyer is going to do is make you end up paying more than if you just plead guility.

Just a hint your you.. There is no magic mark of let say 100 MPH to really get into trouble. Once you begin going over the speed limit by a few MPH your hitting the reckless driving and dangerous driving area.

    ONE OTHER THING!!

Why don't idiots like you explain what the fun is about over at least 30 MPH over the speed limit and putting other drivers lives in danger just so you can have a little joy ride?

I've very glad you got caught and I can only hope they charge you with the maximum fines and restrictions on your license!

It's people like you who kill and it is nothing different then premediated murder because drivers who excessivly speed are aware that if they crash some one else has a great posibility of getting severely hurt or killed.

i know i was speeding, but that was not the question, the question was that if the camera is obtainable?and in there i think a big difference between reckless driving and speed contest which involves two people than just speeding. not only that. in that tape there is a record of my arrest without reading my rights and the officer using foul language if this is presented to the judge and prosecuter the charges will likely be dropped according to my lawyer.
