Hey guys, i made a post the other day about helping me out with something for school, and some of you suggested that i just post the questions here instead of trying to email them to someone. So i'm going to try that. Anyways i have a project for my community oriented policing class that involves me asking some questions to 2 law enforcement officers from two different departments. I have already interviewed an officer from a city close to me and my professor wants me to interview another officer with the same questions (preferibly from a different state or area of the country.) I am located in Ohio. So thats where you guys could help me out. Below are the questions that i need to ask. Feel free to answer any or all of them if possible.
.Name and address of your organization.
.Name and rank of officer spoken to. (first name only is fine)
.What is the official and primary focus of the program?
.What are the official goals of the program?
.How did the program come to exist? Responsively or proactively?
.Approximate number of employees assigned to the program? Full time and part time.
.Are there any extra costs to the agency/organization in putting on the program?
.Are other divsions of your agency involved in the program?
.What are the presumed advanages of the program?
.Are there any disadvantages to the program?
.Have you had any feedback from the community either positive or negative as a result of the program?
.Have there been any recent organizational revisions to the program to improve the quality of service?
.Is there any kind of formal assessment or evaluation system in place to determine the sucess of the program?
I really do appreciate anyone that wishes to reply to any or all of the questions regarding community oriented policing. Thanks again.
