What do you do if your mom's ex-lover is stalking your house, and has been warned not to be in any sort of contact with you, or they will be arrested. The person is trying to call her and is text messaging her. What do you do about it? If I get the person arrested, they will loose their Medical License, and even if i get the person arrested, it will probably cause more problems between the 3 of us, the person is phsycotic, and I have no idea what this person would do. Any suggestions?

Restraining Order. If he looses his license, that is his doing. If you are so concerned about him losing his license, dont call the police when he violates the restraining order.

If you have a restraining order against him, then he's arrested. If not, then you guys are just in a pissing contest. Sorry to be so blunt but if the guy has problems, who cares if he loses his license?

Let your mom deal with it. I'm assuming that she is an adult and is capable of calling the police if the contact is unwanted. Maybe she enjoys this "unwanted" attention.

Restraining order, (and as a side note, it's pretty hard to lose your medical license, I've investigated medical doctors who have done a lot worse than that and kept theirs).

This doesn't hold any leagal water "has been warned not to be in any sort of contact with you, or they will be arrested".
If your mother is really concerned she'll need to file for a restraining order and that will legally hold water to say that if he goes near your home, her work, school, and any other stipulations in the order he will be arrested.
With out an order the Law Enforcement agencies can not do anything. If this person has made threats or any other concerns your mother can contact your Local Law Enforcement Agency and file a report and they can help out with how to file a restraining order.
