All teasing aside, Debra, police officers rarely, if ever, use the restroom at a public facility unless they can secure themselves in the restroom.

The mere act puts you in a position of vulnerability should someone wish you harm.

Thanks for the straight forward. As i just mentioned to Valor55, this scenario honestly never occured to me. I can't imagine someone targeting an officer, not just because you carry a gun, but because... it's just not right. Ya, I'm pretty naive. (Don't Patrol work in pairs? - though i realize this may not make a difference either.)
