Check with a neighbor close-by and ask who owns the land. If public lands, inquuire with the agency that admiinisters the land. Get a copy of the rules and regs. If it is private land, ask the landowner for permission, identify yourself and your friends, and ask if it is OK to do what you planned. Some will say yes, some will say no, some will say OK with some restrictions. Don't argue with the landowner. If you are allowed onto the property, use it as you would use something very valuable to you. Pick up litter, including that of other littering slobs who left their trash, and dispose of the litter properly. If you see something needing repair, such as a fence, tell the owner. Stay clear of machinery and livestock. Let the owner know when you leave, and all members of your group should thank them, in person as you depart. You may be invited to return. If some friends think that asking and gaining permision is not necessary, replace them.
From a landowner.
Old people may not live to see the collapse of our Nation. The rest of you may not survive the collapse.
