Scenario clarification.

Yeah thats just it, he's teaching us what we need to know to pass "the test", not really what we will be using out on the streets. I mean yeah I need to know whats legal, but I'd rather know what I'm going to have to do once I'm out in the real world.

Welcome to the world of Const Law and Legal issues. They'll teach you the way they wan you to answer on their test and how the "state test is worded"

Then you'll get into the skills area where you'll learn a "different" interpetation of the terry stops and temporary detainments.

Finally you get on the street where you learn the "real" way it's done that will both save your life and do your duty.

Ahhhhhh...I see your from Minnesota. You would know all about the schooling and skills and what not. Did you go to Alex?

I like these guys. I LOVE to run. Sadly, since the street response guys have made a habit out of Tasering anyone that DOES run it's just not common anymore.:D

No I survied though Minneapolis Community and Tech College at Energy Park. It was nice being able to have the classroom and skills portion at the same place so once I got it, I was able to roll though both parts.

I know some schools offer the classroom portions and then you've got to register for a space at one of the schools offering the skills portion. Are some places only running the Skills portion every two years still? I would hate to have to wait a year for Skills to come up.
