LAPD-How much notice for Academy

I just got a "thumbs up" from Personnel and BGI. Waiting for the call.
Anyone know as to the time period from when you get selected for an academy, to the start date? I have to do some serious moving, trying to anticipate this a little. Thanks.

Well, bud, I'll tell you what. I moved form Texas to Washington DC on 4 days notice. Don;t know about LAPD specifically, but if it's like most big city depts, the notice will be shorter than you would probably like.
