I am a serving Metropolitan Police officer in London, UK for the last seven years. I will be in New York for my first time, near to Times square for a few days at the end of April this year. I would really like to be able to meet up with a NY Police officer for a ride along or just a tour of their station. Is there anyone i can contact to organise this or do i have to visit a Police station when i get to New York and ask then. Also i suppose you get lots of requests by us London Police if so are we welcome or a problem as i know what it's like to be told to take out a guest when you have just finished parade.
