    Police Scanners

    Hey board,

I want to get as familiar and as comfortable as possible talking on the radio. I'm comfortable with a radio as I talk with Air Traffic Controllers all day, but I want to hear codes and such used on air. Where can I get a realtively inexpensive scanner? What is the price range of police scanners?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kevin
