Need help

hello, I was stopped for speeding i was doing 53 in a 35. I was very tired coming home from work, i passed a bunch of cars and slowed down to get in to the lane i needed thats when i got pulled over. i was literally 3 minutes away from my house. I am under 18 and about a month ago i was pulled over for speeding but when i went to court the judge let it go i only had to pay 100 for court costs. My 18th bday is in 19 days on the 25th of feb my court date is 24th. I was also issued a "failed to pay attnetion on the road" ticket for an accident i was involved in when i was 16 although i got shoved into another car by a person that hit me so i didnt really understand y i got that ticket. Basically the qustion is what do i do, technically this is my 2nd ticket since the other speeding one is not on the record (or is it). In OHIO if youre under 18 the license gets suspended for 90 days. My question is what can I do at this point to perhaps avoid a suspension, should i contact a lawyer ? I am willing to pay the ticket seeing that what i had done is wrong, but i really dont want to lose my license for that long. Need an answer someone, Thank you much

with all due respect, it will get solved after you learn to drive more responsibly. You are experiencing the consequences of your actions.

You should probably hire an Attorney.

I would think that an attorney and the courts are the only ones who can determine the outcome. Hope you learn from this experience as a lot of folks die from fatigued driving and when combined with speed, your chances of death or serious injury are much higher. Pay a lawyer, that is what they are for. If you were speeding, as others have said, be a man and take your medicine. Be responsible for your actions. This is a true test of a young man's character. Do you have defensive driving class for moving violations which allows the points to be taken off the citation. But, you still have to pay the citation. We have this in Florida, don't know about Ohio.

If you didn't want to lose your license, you shouldn't have been speeding. You said the judge gave you a break on the one ticket, that should have been your lesson on not getting another ticket. You have no one to blame except yourself.
