    a little input and help.

I wanted to do something in my neighbourhood, but wanted to see what everyone or some people thought. I live very close to a neighbourhood that is filled with troubled youths. Kids constantly getting in trouuble and what not. There is a community police officer in the neighbourhood who IMO doesnt do very much, at least i dont see it. I was pondering the idea of trying to start a program in which I can do something with these youths, such as a movie night, sports night, clean the neighbourhood, and whatever else comes to mind. I was wondering what you people though if this is a dumb idea or if it woukd work. I was thikong of hopefully using the community police office as it is a house, It is just somthing I think would be nice to do, But some more suggestions in what I can do and how to go about it wouldne great. Thanks. Ryan!

Would you plan on working with this officer, or doing this on your own?

Ever ask about a volunteering for Youth Diversion at your local police/sherrif station?
It's not peer pressure......it's just your turn.

    well......

Like i said to me, I personally feel the officer does not do that much, but hopefully with him, if not i would be fine doing this alone. I would just like a heads up as to where to start. any input is great.
