    Criminal code book

I am searching for a Washington State Criminal Code handbook and I was curious if anyone knew where I should begin looking?

I believe the Criminal Code is Section 9A of the RCW (Revised Code of Washinton).

From what I've heard, there is some type of paperbook criminal code book that police officers carry in their vehicles.

If anyone has an advice on this topic, please let me know.

Your help would be very appreciated.

    Thanks -

If you're law enforcement, then I suggest contacting your academy. If they don't have them then they should know how to get one. If not LE, good luck. In my state they are for LE only.

Anyone can have a copy of the laws from any state.

Go to www.gouldlaw.com and click on "catalog" then on the yellow picture of the United States, then on "Washington" You can buy it in paper form or on CD. There is even a version for your PDA.

They also have Law enforcement guides with court rulings effecting search and seizure, arrest, etc. Vehicle laws are also available.

    It is a grerat resource.

Oh yeah, federal laws are available.
