    what do you think?

After being fired from 4 different jobs, I finally have had some good job stability and have done very good at my job, The thing is i have 2 part time jobs which i have been at for 1 year and 2 months and 9 months, I was just offered a full time job as a loss prevention officer where i live, and I am not sure what to do because I know how important job stability is. this new job would offer me more money as well as a life, . I love my 2 jobs now, as I work with police often (loss prevention and mall security are my jobs now), i work 6 days a week which in a way prepares me for long shifts as a police officer and as well as good experience dealing with the people i have to deal with. can I get some opinions on what you people think, I have come along way and have become a way better person so i can acheive my goal of becoming a PO in the very near fiture, I do not however want to ruin my chances by switching jobs again. so please offer advice.

How many times are you going to ask this type of question???

Job stability is having a job consistantly without breaks in service. If you are going from 2 part time jobs to one full time one, it should not count against you at all.
HOWEVER, what you do need to be highly concerned about is the fact that you have been fired 4 times. Being at a job for one year does not prove that you have mended your ways. It also does not mean "job stability" like you stated in the first sentence of your post.

Its difficult to say what you should do, Ryan. I don't know why you got fired from these jobs, how long ago this happened, etc...
Time will help, but if you were fired for stealing and you were, say, 17 at the time, it won't look good for you. But if a department is desperate enough, you could get in. If this last dismissal came only 1 1/2 yrs ago, it is not enough time.
Your best bet would be to ask the dept you want to apply to, because only they know what they would hire.

Ryan, to be considered for a LE position, you need to demonstrate confidence in your decision-making abilities coupled with an ability to think for yourself. What do YOU think is the right thing to do? After all is said and done, that's the only answer you need.
