Have you ever pulled over someone going too slow in a 45? What do they say if you have? I seem to always get stuck when I am trying to go somewhere behind some little older lady (not trying to be mean) and it causes people to become irate (I dont), sometimes the person behind me thinks im the slow one and will honk or rage at me. I just pass and forget about it.

So, is it illegal to do 20 in a 45? And what do people say if you pull them over?

It is illegal to impede the flow of traffic, and yes too slow is a cite-able offense.

Yes I've pulled someone over for it. I'll only do it if they are impeding traffic. If it's 0100 and they're in the right lane and the left lane is open, I'll check for signs of DUI but if I find none, I'll pass and move on. Mine was rush hour and she was in the left lane. I didn't ticket but I told her that driving so far under the limit (25 in a 45) was dangerous as well. I told her to drive the limit and if she has to go slower, stay in the right lane.

I once cited an old bearded man for driving 35 in the left lane of a freeway. I first honked and blasted the siren to try to get him to move over, but he just motioned for me to go around.

Several years later, after I met my wife, I learned that it was her grandfather I wrote. ROFL.

Also "following improperly" or "following too close" in TN. Citable if he/she is definitely hinering traffic flow. ;)
