Hello,
My dad recently gave me three old pistols of his for an early christmas present. I'm currently 19 years of age and I am curious of something. I am wanting to take the guns out to my grandma's house who lives way out in the country(dad hates the drive). Anyways, if I were to disassemble them and transport them to her house and then put them back together there, would it be allowed? They will not be within reach of the driver.

I looked it over, it doesn't mention anything specifically except that you have to be 21 years old to have it in the passenger compartment of your vehicle and for a lawfull purpose. I think you will be fine if you store them unloaded in your trunk with no ammo anywhere near them and even better off if you disassemble them and transport them in your trunk.

Here, you can't posess a handgun under the age of 21. Your father would be in a heap of trouble for doing that. You may want to check your local laws before doing anything with it.

doing a quick check, possession by a minor (or transfer of possession to a minor) are both Class D crimes.

Depends on where you live, since you live "underneath my truck" you may need to check your local "underneath my truck" ordinances.
