Is everyone suspect?

You bet, until I can watch body language and actions they are suspect. Most everyone is eliminated after I watch then for 1/2 a second. You just learn after being on the road whether people are nervous, bothered, cocky, or a threat.

I do the same thing as far as watching people go. When I am out shopping or out at a restaurant, I watch people all the time.

I haven't worked in two years and I still sit with my back to the wall, so I can see everyone.
