Need some Info?

I have a question, i'm almost graduating from high school and some people tell me that a criminal justice degree won't do you any good, so i'm kinda confused, can somone tell me what he/she did in college and what did you do first the academy or college, or it realy doesn't matter. i'd appreciat if somone can fill me in.... Since you have time, college first...Does a CJ degree not do any good, I wouldn't say that is true. Some classes in CJ will help you in the academy, get a good base of law and an intro to report writing, and you will have less to struggle with in the academy.
What people are saying, is that, just like an athlete, it is good to have and education in something other than CJ. Simply put, if you have a degree in something else, and you get hurt, you have something to fall back on. For promotional purposes I have heard all sorts of suggestions for what is better administratively. Any degree will do you good, getting hired. It is the fact that you went to college and earned one that matters.

It's a degree and a lot of jobs only want any kind. Personally, I would get something that a little more multifaceted in case you change your mind about going into LE or for some reason unk to you now, you might not qualify.
