marijuana possession and usage

ok ill have to admit i do have a couple of stoner friends and they wanted me to ask....

1)what will happed if they are caught with say a dub or 25bucks worth about a gram of it on them.or any amount for that matter.
what will happen?

2)now assuming they have used it and its in thier blood and piss when they take the test.
what will happen?

3)also how long does it take for weed to not show up on drug tests?
how long does it stay in your system?

by the way i live in california if that makes any differnence

1- In CA, probably a cite and release, if that. (here, I'd lock you up. I hate dope)

2- I dunno. Don't give piss tests. Probation and Parole does that, and usually they'll violate your released status.

1. It's a violation of H&S 11357(b). I can detain you, arrest you, transport you to the station and cite and release you if I so desire. If we don't get along, I can book you in County Jail.

2. We don't do urine tests for marijuana usage. It's like being drunk in public not being under the influence of a controlled substance. If you're driving however, it will be a dui and you will be required to submit to a chemical test of blood.

I arrest dopers. May I suggest an alternate profession that would go with the druggie lifestyle? Drywall installer would be a good choice.

Roofers seem to work all week to get drunk and high EVERY weekend, sounds like an appropriate trade for this lad.

No doubt another "responsible drug user". Roofing, drywall work, even the car-wash require hard labor and being somewhere at a particular time. That's a bit limiting and might even be "unfair".

For more laid back options consider "Welfare as a Career Path", "Following Phish Concerts", "Anarchists Needed - Some Travel Required", or let the ol' lady tend the crop, she brings in the paycheck, and just stay high. Have an awesome time, dude.

#1 - Over 1/2 oz of MJ in TN is a felony. Under 1/2 will land you a misdm cite or a trip to jail (depending if your driving or another circumstance)

#2 - I don't have to prove your using by a piss test if you have it in your possession. Like the others said, that's up to parole/probation officers

#3 - MJ leaving your system will depend on a variety of circumstances
