Yeah, they can DQ you for bad credit. Banks do it all the time with their tellers. Hotels do it with their front desk clerks. You can't be trusted with large sums of money if you can't keep your own finances in order. Credit checks also can reveal a lot about a persons character. Gambling problems, aliases, and past places of residence are just some of the things that flushed out of a credit check.
