    Stopping another Fellow Officer

This question goes out to the Officers who have stoped motorists only to find out the person they stopped is on the job. I was wondering if anyone has actually written a summons or if anyone has stories they can tell about their stops. I am not on the job but I do have family on the job and have been told some stories of encounters that the Uniformed officer showed courtesy as long as the off-duty officer being stoped was respectful. (Of course it was stories by my family members being stopped and making the stops) This also applies to the out of state encounters you may have.
    Thanks

"On the Job" as in actually working? Doesn't happen here.

As in a "Sworn Officer" stopped their personal vehicle? I do not discuss those situations in public. Circumstance, and Discretion play into the stop, and all stops are different. And of course, attitude is key.

On the Job as a Sworn Officer of the Law stopped in their personal Vehicle while OFF duty..not working . It is a grey area to discuss but an interesting one.

Or do a topic search. I'm sure it's been discussed before in the open forums as well.
