Like the other LEO's who have posted, I have had good and bad experiences with the FBI. The agency has many incrediably talented people who really are terrific agents.
I know there are agents who are in the bureau that believe they are superior to other agencies, but there is someone who thinks that in every agency. The FBI does get the money and jurisdiction on a lot of issues, but every one in law enforcement knows that the FBI would not get anywhere without the help of local, state, and other federal asistance. I currently deal with the FBI on a weekly basis and I can say that the agents that I have met are outstanding and professional in every manner.

I just realized I did not answer your original question posted on your thread. No, I would not become a FBI agent. There are so many other great federal agencies that don't get enough due credit...DEA, USPIS, Secret Service, ATF, ICE, DS, DCIS...just to name a few.

Nope. I like being an LEO and working with other LEO's. Giving credit where credit is do, not stealing the leg work, arrest etc.
