Quick question. In the state of new jersey when you are 17 you have a provisional license with restrictions but when you turn 18 you get your regular lisence with no restrictions. The question is do you have to renew your lisence when you turn 18 so you have no restrictions?? or would the cop just look at the date it was issued and know your 18.

At least in PA, a junior licensee AUTOMATICALLY turns into a regular senior license on their 18th birthday without having to do anything. Problem is, they are stuck with a license that still says "junior license" on it. I have caught myself a few times about toi cite a junior driver when I realized they were now 18.
