Odd quick question with long story behind it. When someone takes MPOETC's certfication exam how long before they know if they get the results? Is it scored while you wait there?

GOSH I am just a lazy typist

OK here's the deal. Our township hired a man as an interium Police Chief in whose contract it stated that he had his certification. He was hired for 3 months. He was not certified and did not get ceritified. They chose to rehire him for another 3 months. I brought up that by doing this the township is wasting $'s because in a dept. this small every man needs to be able to go out and patrol. THEN he quit and they hired a new man same issue, contract said he WOULD have his certification by a certian date. He did not but took it a few days later. He came back saying he passed. My question was just would he have gotten the results before he left the test site. I will call MPOETC in a few weeks to confirm. I was just wondering.I lack patience

One of our guys who was out of police work for about three years. When he came back he had to go to Harrisburg to take that test. From what I understand, he was advised that he passed prior to leaving the building.
