Hey one I forgot that TPD reminded me of when he said conditions, locations...you'll be doing 100 things at once, but if you get a call of a tree down and a domestic, the domestic will come first. However, if the tree is down in the middle of a road at night, let the Officer know right away so he doesn't take it out on the way.
Also, try to relay information as it was given to you. It'll help you from looking like you aren't doing your job. For example, someone calls in a domestic, sounds intoxicated and hangs up the phone so you can't get all the information you need. When the Officer asks for further information, don't respond with "I don't know" or "I can't advise". Explain that the CP sounded intoxicated, and hung up on you, and that you are trying to re-establish contact. You'll have less Officer complaints about your job.
