Question female just out of high school

Alrighty well I realize this is a bit of a *eye rolling* question but Ill ask it anyway :D

Im currently 16 years old and interested in law enforcement. The station I would be interested joining starts hiring at as young as 18.

The idea just recently crossed my mind of applying maybe a year after graduating high school without going the whole university route  lol

    How unlikely is this?

What position are they employing at the age of 18? Also what part of law enforcement are you interested in?
Be advised, I'm mean nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I could put a round through a fleas *** at 300 yards. So why don't you hump somebody else's leg mutt-face before I push yours in.

Minimum requirements are one thing. Being competitive is another thing altogether. I wuiold highly reccommend the education route. Even with great experience and getting on the job, the education would probably help a great deal in promotions. I know in most agencies these days (at least in the US), it would take an act of God making promotions without college.

The first thing you should do is realize that there is a lot of competition for a limited amount of openings. The second thing you should do is ask yourself: Why would they hire me instead of the next person? You can apply because you meet the minimum requirements but like any other job, the candidate that exceeds the requirements usually gets the appointment.
