I read so many people on here ask about college, and what they should major in, and most on here say as long as you don't do CJ. Well, I'm currently a junior majoring in CJ. All through high school I was told to major in it. I couldn't see myself majoring in accounting, business, or management because I think it is boring, I believe that majoring in something I don't care for isn't a smart thing to do. I'm interested in criminal justice and go to a university that is ranked like in the top 4 in the country. One of my professors is ex-FBI, and many have LE experience as detectives and those that have worked in corrections and doing various research. The only other things I'm interested in is history, but I don't want to be a historian, or a teacher, so I figured it was pointless. My question is , less say something happens and I'm not able to be in LE, are you people saying that in no way do I have a chance to get a good job doing something else with a CJ degree. I know plenty of people who have jobs, unrelated to what there degree is. Also, most jobs you have to go through job training and will learn many of the things you need to be succesful, the rest through on the job training. I only ask this because it seems as though you think it is the end to any hope in anything else.
