A few weeks ago my friend' cars were egged and had toilet paper all over his lawn. [In Illinois] what kind of consequences are there to these juvenile acts?

I'm hoping the police in your area have better things to do. There are very few random eggings in the world. I'm sure your friend has some idea who did it. If not, write it off.

Stud, if you are out there printing eggs and tp, you are really, really bored or just super dedicated. :DOriginally Posted by michiganstud
You know the difference between a job and a duty? A job you can refuse to do because it's dangerous; a duty you must do even if it is dangerous.

Deputy Hit by Bullet on City's Southside
(WISH-TV)
(Indianapolis) - A 24-year-old man is behind bars after he fired a shotgun at a Marion County Sheriff's Deputy.
A bullet from the gun bounced and hit Deputy James Ingalls in the face. Paramedics took him to Wishard Hospital to be checked out. He's in good condition.
Ingalls was responding to a report of shots fired in the area of 524 South Holt Road around 11:00 p.m. Friday night when he was hit. Several neighbors heard the commotion.
Captain Phil Burton, the Public Information Officer with the Marion County Sheriff's Department, says, "He actually fired a shot at our officer and then ran to the front of this residence, placed the weapon on the front porch and then returned to the back to give himself up. He did not give up totally because once we went to effect an arrest, he started resisting, so an additional officer got injured during that resisting, but he is fine."
Phyllis Felix, who lives near the scene, explains, "It's scary. It really is. Yup. I have grand kids living with me and I just don't like it."
Investigators are still trying to determine why the suspect Bobby Calvert was firing shots and why he pointed the gun at Deputy Ingalls. He faces several charges including attempted murder and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon
