Types of calls

Are there any type of calls that you get that you cringe and think, "Jesus, not another!" and typically dislike having to go to? What would some of those be? Are there certain calls that you crave when the day/night is dragging on? On any of these calls, how many times have you had to kick in a door? :D

Suspects on premises I thoroughly enjoy.

Any type of sex crime, nothing good ever comes from them
Domestics
Animal complaints
Civil disputes
burglaries

Ones I like-
Anything where I can catch someone in the act. Working nights, that usually means a suspicious person call. Unfortunately, there are few people observant enough to report things when they see them happening.

I have not been on the job for very long but I have yet to have a 911 hang-up be anything other than a 911 hang-up. Maybe some vets could chime in on these types of calls.

Burglaries. Hate them. People in the town I work in know there is a lot of property crime yet they refuse to spend the money to put an alarm on their house.

My opinion, maybe 1 of 200 is more than just a hang-up

One of the main reasons I tried so hard to be a boat officer (aside from sun, water, and bikinis:D) Is that there are no domestics and very few transients, and when I'm off the water I don't answer routine calls but pretty much go hunting on my own.

I spend most of my land time backing up other officers. The regular road patrols are VERY shorthanded. Occasionally i'll pot DWI's.

As for hangups, we've had a couple of major cases derive from them, but the majority of the time hangups are kids playing on the phone.

I despise hit and run reports.

Any in progress calls are great.

No doubt about it, domestic disputes are the worst!
Give me a burglary in progress or a bar fight any time!!

Highway patrol does accidents here. Domestics and civil matters sux. But the absolute worst call that I cannot hardly stomach is a child abuse/neglect case. I don't hate much but I hate those.
