    Legal Intake Systems

    Forum Members:

What are the specific laws / requirements of intake systems in Pennsylvania? I would like to get a little more out of my car at the track, but in the meantime, keeping my car street legal is much more important. I have seen similar intake setups on many cars, but have sometimes questioned the legalities of it. The kit is made by K&N (63-1093) so I would think that it would be legal in most states. My Car's Website. The prior is the website I maintain for my car.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

The only issue you would have is how does it effect your emissions ? Beyond that, there isn't an issue. Will your car pass emissions with the aftemarket equip ? If ALL you are talking about is a K & N intaake system, there shouldn't be any problem at all.
