Reward on Illegals?

Hello,

I was wondering if you can get a reward for turning in an Illegal Alien to the FBI and they will give you so much money for the information on him/her, but you must know these things..

1. Atleast first name

2. Home address

3. Place of Buisness/Work

I heard this from a friend who called the police on a few brazilians and they got a 4,000 dollar reward for all 4 of the people.

Is this true that if you give information to the FBI, will they actually give you reward money if it's all true information?

(I'm asking this since my friend who works at McDonlads heard the mexicans and the manager talking about how they dont need their immigration papers. Also the mexicans dont speak english very well at all.)

I have not heard of any program for a reward on Illegal Imigrants.

You can search goole and other sites to see how overloaded Immigrantion is already with undocumented residents. If you wish to report these persons you can contact Immigration and provide that information to them.

I think your friend was feeding you a line.

well. i will say this, his family is brazilian and i guess they stole money from them. But i cant verify the truth. I dont see why he'd lie since i havent known him for a long time but my other friend has known him for quite a while. But i will do my research.

I know I don't want illegal aliens taking all the crap jobs that noone else will work. Especially if'n they don't talk good english.

No one's going to pay you for "finding" an illegal alien. Law enforcement officers "find" them all day. The problem is that no one wants to do anything with them once you do find them.

It actually seems to annoy ICE or FBI when you call them and tell them you have one and ask if they want them. They always ask if you think they are dangerous or are going to commit some crime. I really think their only concern is that once release, the alien will go and commit some heinous crime, and it will come out that they didn't do anything.

The only time the INS/FBI will even consider looking at an illegal is if they are involved with drug or firearms trafficking and/or have been convicted of serious violent crimes. They are usually deported if nailed doin either one.

The rest of them, they could care less. More things to worry about in US. ;)

If you arrest them on a felony like drugs or weapons, and they are going to be locked up anyway, you don't have to call them. They come running to the jail to take the stat.

As a legacy Customs ICE agent, I don't pretend to know the ins and outs of the immigration issues, however, I do know this:

The immigration system is so overwhelmed it is at/near the breaking point.

In my office, the legacy Customs guys start immigration duty agent on Monday. We have been told that the plain jane illegal that local/state law enforcement bags will not have detainers placed on them. The only detainers we will be placing is for aliens who fall under the following categories:

Operation Predator - previously convicted sex offenders.

Aggravated Felons - previously convicted agg felons.

Prior Deports - Aliens who have been previously criminally deported.

Others will be looked at on a case by case basis.

I know it is easy to get frustrated with the agent on the phone, but trust me, we are as frustrated as you guys are with the system. As a former Customs agent now ICE agent we are doubly frustrated with the system. Processing aliens is not our idea of "criminal investigations" nor our idea of fun.

Generally, Illegal's shipping fees vary depending on weather the illegal is a "resale" item or if the illegal must be "shipped" from the manufacturer. A realy good deal would include some fashion accessories.
