I was curious how your driving is in your own cars? do you find yourself speeding more or letting yourself slide on using turn signals....etc
also...do you have a "toy" that you can take out and play with. (muscle car, motorcycle)

Drive like a human being. Occassionaly the pedal goes too far down, but that is very rare, for my kids are usually with me.
I sold my MC, too dangerous here with all of the tourists.

I drive like Miss Daisy. I really don't speed as I'm never really in too much of a hurry to get anywhere. I'm sure it ticks the drivers off behind me but they'll get over it. Too much blood being shed on our roads anyway.

the reason i ask is i went for a ride-along and then once i got in my car i had the weirdest tendencies. i was about to whip around in the street and thought to myslef
"what the heck are you doing!" it was about 3am, and wasnt endangering motorists but i had these little tendencies.
maybe thats what i was asking, and not so much about speeding particularly. just things you do in you patrol cars rub off on to your personal driving

Maybe that's my problem, I drive like Miss Daisy in the squad car too.

I drive a piece of crap 1972 Ford pickup that can't get out of it's own way. Speeding violations are a memory, but I do get stopped for equipment violations all the time. The rear lights have a mind of thier own...sometimes I'll step on the brake and a turn signal will come on. I've been trying for years to find the short, but with all the oil underneath it's hard to see the wires.
I've always been a "by the book" driver; don't speed, use the signals, don't tailgate...pretty boring.
Never be afraid to make a difference
My grandmother would be proud of my driving. I baby my car to death and as a result get good mileage 23-25 around town for a 3.0 V-6 .
IN the past my rides have included a 421 Super Duty Pontiac and a 440 hp from a police car put into smaller body car. Gas was also .60 c a gallon too !!

I'm usually the slowest guy on the road. I have come to the point that I don't even like to drive fast on duty. Too stressful.![]()

You're right, I guess that was the whole point behind the movie. :pOriginally Posted by michiganstud

10-15 over, ALWAYS use blinkers, and i got 55,000 miles out of my last set of tires.
I tend to follow the laws that I enforce. Like I stated on another thread, blinkers are not necessary in TN unless pedestrians or vehicles or affected. ;)
