    Researching laws

Reading through this forum I discovered two things that I found interesting:

    1. According to one poster in law enforcement it is/was a felony in all 50 states to carry a cooler in the back seat of your car. (Don't know if this is still true though)

    2. Having anything hanging on your rear view mirror is illegal.

These are two things I have done several times in the past and probably would of never known they were illegal until I got pulled over and cited for them. Now operating under the premises that I don't want to get pulled over and cited for anything no matter how obscure. What would be the best way to research the laws to uncover these things. I say this because ignorance of the law is no excuse, so lets try to eliminate the ignorance part..or is that even possible given the tremendous amount of laws out there. Also as law enforcement, how much time do you spend researching laws. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense just trying to sort through some thoughts in my head. Thanks for your replies.

No it's not illegal, unless you have contained within; a decapitated head, lb of weed, meth, cocaine..... you get the point.

All, well most laws are common sense. If it looks stupid, smells stupid, or acts stupid, it's probably a law against it.

Not true in CA at least. It depens on the size of what is hanging down and how much it obstructs your view.
Be advised, I'm mean nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I could put a round through a fleas *** at 300 yards. So why don't you hump somebody else's leg mutt-face before I push yours in.

    He was just being sarcastic.

Should answer just about any question you have...
What is your major malfunction, numbnuts? Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child?
