I like beatin' and releasin'. I like taken dope from dopes and sellin' it to my friends. I like the loose women that are easy. And I like driving fast and writin' tickets to other non-mes who try to do the same.

Originally that was my reason, lame and naive as it sounds, for wanting to be an LEO. Then I started working and the opportunities to pull babies from rivers and be a hero didn't materialize. So I had to ask myself why I still do it when the victims hate me for helping them and I don't see that I make a difference to anyone. And the reason is, like Rad Diver said, I want to put the scumbags in jail. It makes my day. They think they can treat other people like trash and get away with it. They think the rules don't apply to them. They think driving impaired isn't going to hurt anyone. They think they can grow dope in my park. :D And they can, but then I can take them to jail.
