    Traffic question

I have a friend who when making a left turn onto four lanes divided, two moving in both directions, who continues to drift over in the far right lane. Now I always stay in the left lane after the turn because I was told in driving school 1977, it was the right way.

    Im correct right?

You are supposed to turn into the left lane, then signal and move to the right lane when the turn is completed.

Sounds like your friend is intent on swapping fender paint with someone.

I guess it depends on the state, because in Texas when turning left you may turn into lane not occupied.
