Buying a car new or used it's to owners responsiblity to insure that all equipment on the vehicle is DOT approved.

Here is a message from the 8000K HID light vedors..

**PLEASE NOTE: all HID Kits and Lighting Systems are sold for show purposes only. They are not D.O.T. approved for street use. Please check your local and state laws for further information.**

Recommendation -- Pay the fine, repair your exhaust system, Remove the HID kit and go back to regular headlights.
