Jail Question, being held without charges...

Wow 1 year to file charges...

I have heard of street racers being snatched up on a Saturday night and spending the weekend in jail. I never really thought they could hold you for that long though.

BTW isn't the statute of limitations longer on some charges, or is it they only have 1 year to charge you after an initial arrest?

Also weekends and holidays do not count in that 48 hours.

In Missouri like Bearcat said 20 hours. Unlike Bearcat I don't have to get approval from the PA. We already have Blanket approval from the PA's Office.
