This question is for all of the police officers here. What's your favorite car for a police cruiser and why?

Mid 90's Chevy Caprice with the LT-1 350. Power and handling made it a good bottom end and top end cruiser.
I did have a 1970 Dodge sedan ( had a 383 in it) in which I bought a 1972 Dodge Polara Montana Highway Patrol car just for the motor. I put the high performance 440 in the '70 car and she was a SCREAMER. Only got 6 miles to the gallon but gas was .60 c a gallon and I was single.I think the Dodge would have outrun the Caprice.
The current CV's are OK but only because I don't have to pay for the gas.
Creeper Cop
i always liked the sherman tank. they handle pretty well and the speed is great for working school zones. it has some get-up-and-go. it also makes a handy portable cell with the armor and all.
the only problem i've found is lightbars are kind of hard to mount on the gun turret, but it can be done.
CHP's commercial enforcement camaro. I covered one on a traffic stop today and couldn't stop drooling on the hood...
Be advised, I'm mean nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I could put a round through a fleas *** at 300 yards. So why don't you hump somebody else's leg mutt-face before I push yours in.
The old 87-93 Mustang 5.0 5-speed is still my favorite. They were plentiful on the UHP here once upon a time. Quick, maneuverable, and practically impossible to kill. I owned 2, my last one had 265,000 miles on it and still ran decent. Wish they were still around to issue...
My second pick would have to be the LT-1 caprice.
My ole 97 CVPI

88 Dodge Diplomate. :D NOT
How come your house has wheels and your car doesn't?
Yeah I liked the old Chevy Caprice also..I think it was around 1988 or so. Nice and big and was a nice smooth ride. I also liked the 1985 crown vic.
They where the best. Yours had the Corvette engines. :cool:Originally Posted by Drew27k9

I have enjoyed the CV's. I've only been commissioned for about 3 years and that's all I have driven. We now have 2004 Impalas. Still getting used to them. ;)
Yeah, you'll get used to not wanting to drive them.Originally Posted by scott715us

i would trade my 02 crown vic in a heartbeat for a 95-97ish chevy impala!
I do what I can do when I can do it.
mid nineties caprice...
We still had a couple of 'em when I got hired, and I got to take one to EVOC. Great power/handling balance
What is your major malfunction, numbnuts? Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child?
I can't really complain about my '01 CV, it's been a good faithful car, I just wish it was a little quicker.
