Tryin to become a police officer

Hi I am currently in the process of trying to become a police officer and i was wondering if you had any advice for my oral board I was told i am not confidant enough how can I improve this and also about a year ago my wifes cousin accused me of molesting her but no charges were ever brought or anything should i be worried about this for my background??

I hope you dont talk like you type because it will sound like you are just running your sentences together without any punctuation whatsoever so you can see that this may become a problem i wish you luck but you need to punctuate or the other members at RP will get a headache trying to read your posts im sure you dont want that to happen who would?

Dont worry i dont talk like i type. Typing in messages is just quick to not punctuate. And I have gotten in the habit of not doing it in instant messages

Look them in the eyes. Be straight forward and completely honest.

Dress decent. No jeans or t-shirts.

Don't cross your arms. And stay focused.

You need to make sure the accusation is known to any hiring agency. If you didn't do anything wrong ( you said you weren't charged but you didn't say you weren't guilty) then you need to let them know up front. Otherwise it can come up in a BI and it will LOOK like you tried to hide it. Trying to hide something is as bad as lying in the eyes of a PD.

i am not guilty matter of fact i had an alibi as to where i was and somebody that was with her that whole day said i was never even with her so its all good thanks for all the comments
