Question about Vehicle Code Violations...

AWDW huh? Do tell.......

AWDW? Read other post, accused by individual of using vehicle to run over kids, not true, no charges were filled, did spend several hours in lockup though. No arrest on record, was unarrested by the approprate penal code.

Security department requires a copy so the supervisor can make clear any law before an arrest is authorized. As to the blue light law I saw the part about lighting but wanted to see the interpretations on the law first.

comment, quoting the whole thing does not help. I have absolutly excelent credentials and a good working relationship with the deartment and many of the officers in the department. An resident on out street who is a detective for a local LEO and a BI looked at my stuff and told me I had a very good chance as well as many of the people I know. Yes the arrest may give me some problems but do not just equate that I have no chance over what I say on an internet forum. If this is not your intent then sorry, I am not trying to be emotional about this and I hope that is does not show.

And yes I read the entire post about impersonation, that I why I try and not make it seem like I am a LEO right now so I do not have problems like this...

I'll refrain from commenting on the light issue as I don't think it could be said any better than acreature has said it. But one word of advice. If you really want to get hired by this department in CA, I'd suggest you seriously cut back on what you post here. It would not be hard for any actual LEO to do a little digging, discover what department you are applying to, and forward all the...shall we say..."questionable" posts that you have put on here. I know that many of them would make our BI guys look at you in a different light.
I'm not bashing you...really. Just making an observation that you may want to consider.

Done, already decided not to post anything like that for advice anymore. I do not want some individuals to try something like that and ruin my chances in the department that I really want to work for...

I was not referring to the arrest alone, but more the questions you ask, and the way you handle criticism. In my honest and professional opinion, I do believe you will have a difficult time passing all phases of the hiring process.
I also believe you have a lot of growing to do.
