Does your departments now have the new impalas? or do they still have the same ol crown vics.
Or how many of ya still got those old chevy caprices?

Impalas were tried on '01. Haven't purchased anymore. They are POS

CVs are now jail cars. But since there is no Dodge PP vehicle for '05 (AFAIK), we are getting 6-10 CVPIs this year.

We have 4 CV's right now and like 20 impalas. WIMPALAS SUCK!!!!

I know Darrell will get off on this, but I preferr to drive the CV until chevy redeems themself and gives us a good car.

We've got 7-8 Impalas, but they're all unmarked, and issued to detectives.

We have all Crown Vics....... rumor is that we will give Chrysler a whirl if they come out with the 300 Police Package which is rear wheel drive.

We got Wimpalas. They are such fricking hangar queens, to use Air Force parlance. Sorry if any guys out there like them, I just prefer the Vic for its space. I'm six three and I have to hunch my head down to look out the windshield and thats with the seat all the way back. I flat refuse to lay the seat down any further, makes mean look like I got my ghetto lean on.

I do like our paint scheme. We have black cars with white lettering (maybe going to a grey lettering to match our patch on the door) and a full cover picture of our patch.

We have about a dozen CV's, a Cherokee, three Explorers and two Imp's. The Impalas are supervisor cars and I can only say something good about one of them. The unmarked Imp is a great traffic car. People do NOT recognize the car as a cruiser and do stupid stuff right in front of me.

We have Fords. Crown Vic's some Expeditions, we got the quad runners too for the desert out here. Downtown, we got glorified golf carts. They look silly to me.
