    3 state question

My grandfather passed away about a year ago, he left me a hand gun. My question is this, I am currently stationed in Guam and the gun is in Indiana, my next assignment is in Arkansas, and my home of record(legal residence) is in Florida, I am pretty sure that it has never been registered. What do I need to do to be able to shoot it in indiana and take it with me to Arkansas?

    Thank you for your time,

    Justin

Handguns aren't required to be registered in Indiana. The DNR here has several state operated firearms ranges that you can shoot, but they will check to see if you have a permit to carry. We do honor other states permits, so if it's possible to get a permit in your home state, that would be your best bet.

I don't know your past experience with firearms so I'm not trying to talk down to you, but you may want to have the firearms inspected prior to shooting.
