this question has been discussed more times than I care to count. Try doing a forum search for "lightbar". Then, pay a visiti to the Equipment section. Do your research, it's not that hard.

In all fairness, he is a new poster and just signed up today. Without knowing his history with message forums and the available functions, it's kinda harsh to jump on him like that. It may get frustrating answering the same posts all the time, but to be honest, does that really differ from life as a Law Enforcement Officer? How many times is the same warning or citation issued? And how many times do you arrest the same person for the same thing?

It was not harsh or mean. It was a polite suggestion, and was readily evident to me.

I agree. I thought that was a bit harsh too. You can get your point across a little more politely than that. A little more patience is called for, I believe.

Well, there's another thing I need to know about that involves lights and siren. Here it goes. I want to put police lights (Including a very bright lightbar, and more) on my lawn mower and get an NYPD paint job on it as a tribute to all emergency personnell. Even you dispatchers out there! Anyway, what lights and sirens would you guys suggest?

nope. It really isn't a good idea at all to do so, especially since the lawn mower is a motor vehicle.
