    Carrying Your gun Off duty

I was curious to know do you guys carry your guns even while your off duty? And if so are you guys allowed to take them onto airplanes if you fly across the country? From what some people told me is being a state trooper in new jersey gives the right to carry a gun only in new jersey while your off duty. I guess there mite be different laws for what kind of Leo you are.

I always carry off duty and with GW getting ready to pass HR 218 on the 22nd, I and other officers and qualified retirees will be able to carry nationwide.
You know the difference between a job and a duty? A job you can refuse to do because it's dangerous; a duty you must do even if it is dangerous.

is he set to sign it on the 22nd of this month? cool beans! :D

and to answer you computer. i carry off duty at ALL times! this new law will make it very nice. right now however, each state has other states that it might have an agreement with allowing officers to carry off duty while in that state. it really varies on the state and the policy of the officers police department.

You could always do that, we don't harass visiting coppers, and we passed concealed carry a couple months ago.

The only bordering state I can carry in off duty is Maryland , it would be nice if it was all 50.
